Classic Chevy Van, Stretched 65"

The below images and notes are to assist the shop MGR to communicate progression with the customer.

This van was designed for an Hoot Air Balloon Company and will be wrapped with images of Hot Air Balloons

It went to a Hot Air balloon festival 6-15-08

He said it drove great,...
Except for the fact you have to be more careful with sharp turns now..

Next, ..the interior and finishing the roof line

This Van will be wrapped in vinyl so the Finnish will be treated later

This project normally would take about 30 days ..This one will take longer because Chris, our production MGR is working on this on his spare time.

Mold ready for roof cap.
Now we are stretching and sizing top to make sure new parts fit correctly.

Rainbow came out this Sunday and we were able to catch it on camera

Preparing to make a temporary one off mold so we can make a stretched part for the roof

Mold almost done

A one off mold doesn't need the quality as a production mold because you only
want to make one or two parts off of it then you throw it away.
But it still has to handle the heat and chemicals so it's still a lot of work.
